Terms and conditions

By instructing Lilybetts catering  to cater for your event by way of paying a deposit you are agreeing to our terms and conditions, we recommend you read them and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

 

Deposits paid/cancellation

  • All deposits paid are non refundable and non transferable. (Usually 10% of the booking value)

  • Cancellation of an event within 7 days of the actual booking will result in 100% of the money due.

  • If you cancel your booking 14-8 days prior to your event this will result in 50% of the money due.

Providing own food

  • If you are providing any of your own desserts or food then please ensure you provide your own bowls/plates/napkins and cutlery as required, also, please ensure any cakes are pre-cut.  Food not provided by us must be placed on a separate table and not mixed with Lilybetts food.

Menus

  • Whilst every care is taken to ensure you receive your buffet of choice there may be at times changes to either your individual buffet on the day or a change to our buffets on our website.  This will be due to either issues with our food suppliers not having the stock that week and sending alternatives/replacements or it could be that our supplies have discontinued lines forcing us to amend our menus.  We will ensure similar or equivalent value items will be replaced and will be still of the highest quality. 

Plates/napkins/cutlery

  • We do not include plates, bowls, napkins or cutlery with any of our buffets.  These are available at an additional cost.l

Platters/equipment

  • Our equipment can only be used if we are able to gain access to the venue the following morning,  Some venues don't allow this or are closed so disposable platters will be offered but no buffet table decoration package will be included. These items cannot be taken home.

  • If you are having your buffet provided on our melamine/bamboo equipment, please leave ALL equipment including signs/light up boxes etc at your venue. Please DO NOT remove any equipment and take it home with you as we will return the following morning to collect all of our items. If we are unable to gain access the following morning to your chosen venue then your buffet will be provided on disposable platters and our buffet table package will not be provided

  • Once the equipment has been collected if there are any missing items these will be chargeable as we will need to replace.  We will contact the name on the booking and will invoice this client.

  • Please remove all food from the platters at the end of your event, we do not include this as part of your package, service charge is an additional cost and currently due to Covid -19 we are unable to offer this service

  • Disposable platters are available for all buffets
     

Other information

  • Please note- We will only provide disposable tableware - plates and napkins  (if purchased) for the number of guests you have booked us to cater for. If you have invited more guests than the booked buffet please ensure you have a contingency of disposable tableware in case it’s needed.

Allergies

  • Whilst every care is taken we cannot guarantee a nut free kitchen. 

  • All allergies are listed on our buffets 

  • Individual allergen platters are available at.

Disposable platter range

  • We do not provide plates, napkins or cutlery with our platters range.  These are available at an additional charge. 

  • With the platters range it is the clients responsibility to order enough food for their guests.  All platters have an approx number of items per platters.

 

Hot food- if applicable to your party/event

  • There are very strict rules relating to the serving of hot food. Lilybetts hold a 5 star rating from the Environmental Health department which means that you can be assured that your food is heated, transported and subsequently served at the correct temperature to ensure maximum enjoyment and safe consumption.

  • Our serving dishes are sanitised and disposable cutlery and plates are food-safe products to ensure that opportunities for bacterial growth are minimised.

  • Please ensure that any leftover ‘hot food’ remains in its serving dish at the venue for onward disposal by Lilybetts.

  • Lilybetts cannot be held responsible for health issues relating to the consumption of food which has been removed and reheated later as regulations do not permit commercial food products to be reheated more than once. This is particularly so where the food has been served at an open venue where contact with airborne bacteria may already have occurred.

Final details and payment

  • We require all final numbers and buffet selections a minimum of 3 weeks before your date.  Any requests after this date may not be accepted. 

  • Final balance is due 2 weeks before your event.
